- Date unknown: bought from Maggs by Castano, Boston dealers;
- Date unknown: bought from Castano by Steven Juvelis (1921-1994), Lynn, Massachusetts;
- 1962: sold at auction, Christie's, London, 22 June 1962 (lot 19) as 'A Study of a Tomb with a Recumbent Effigy', and bought by 'Manning', London dealer;
- 1963: sold at the sale of the estate of the late Paul L. Joachim etc., Parke-Bernet, New York, 17 October 1963 (lot 9) as 'A Knight's Tomb, Baden Baden', with another drawing.
