Venice Harbour, Freer Gallery of Art
The city of Venice, Italy. This was painted from the west end of the Public Gardens, looking north-west to the Riva degli Schiavoni. The pastel The Giudecca - Winter; grey and blue m0739 shows a similar view. At left are the Royal gardens, the Campanile and the Doge's Palace and continues, at right, to what is now the Riva dei Sette Martiri. 1
