Technique

The drawing appears to have been traced, the carbon lines reinforced in pencil, and gone over in ink. There are two pin holes at top left, and two vertical folds to left of centre, where the pencil has been rubbed.

Conservation History

The paper is of medium weight, with a slight diamond grain. The sheet is torn down the left, and must have been taken from a notebook.
