Sketch – in fact two sketches – in the collection of the late Joshua Hutchinson Hutchinson (b. ca 1829-d.1891), were sold at auction, Hutchinson sale, Christie's, London, 27 February 1892 (lot 31). They could have dated from some years earlier.
